To make sure that your college is accredited and you are not
spending too much money. You need to find a school of yours dreams for that
there are various steps you can take to achieve it. While many of the things
are different from Traditional Schools like you’ll never be getting the food in
canteen or meeting new people but the courses remain same and you get to study
well and can study from anywhere you want
Instructions
1. Check out the
ratings of the College from sources such as Earn my degree or eLearners.com you
can easily get a lot of information from there. There can be a long list but
you need to go through it thoroughly and check for differences in colleges
according to your criteria. Most of the Colleges for Business Degrees are same
so you won’t have much trouble in this Category. But if you go for degrees such
as 17th century French literature then you’ll have to a bit of research.
2. Limit your research, make sure you know which degree
you’re looking for so you can search better in that specific area some degree
might be of your interest but they’d not be accredited but some might give you
better opportunity similar to traditional schools.
3. Read the course
catalogs completely to learn more about the degree or certificate you are going
for. You should know what subjects you are going to study in the course. Get
online directory of colleges to learn more about them.
4. Don’t be afraid give them a call and learn from them
about their accreditation and courses they offer, timings, teachers, fee
structure and about their faculty so you can see how they treat people
5. Some colleges don’t allow you only to take online classes
they might want you to visit their campus sometimes so its better if clear these
things up before taking admission.
6. See if their teacher’s are full time-instructors because
if they do some other jobs and are doing this for part-time, It may interfere
with your studies as you may not get your complete time and they may not teach
with proper dedication.
7. Read the review about the college from your friends or
read blogs find as many sources as you can. See if they have students who got
high percentages, and good grades.
8. Re-check if any of schools or colleges in your area offer
online courses which might be a better option for you to study as you can visit
the campus as well. So you know how much accredited they are.
